Composite Resin Fillings otherwise known as “white fillings” are now considered to be standard in a dental private practice.
Having superior aesthetics and structural integrity over their predecessors, today’s resins are much more desirable than their ‘silver’ amalgam cousins. Although Amalgam Restorations have their place in dentistry, we find that with the improved qualities of the new resins, they are more than capable of replacing the need for an amalgam restoration.
In terms of being able to reconstruct a tooth, we have many daily successes at restoring teeth so that they look just like a normal tooth.
