Calamvale
Our Calamvale practice is the first of the 2 Healthy Smile Dentals. Located on the corner of Beaudesert and Nottingham roads, the practice is found within the Calamvale Marketplace Shopping Complex. The principal dentist of the practice is Dr Julian Mok. Under his direction this 2 chair practice focuses on down to earth, family-based dentistry. With ample parking and easy access, the practice proves to be the definition of your ‘good local family dentist’ with all the mod-cons of a city practice.
Underwood
The recently established Underwood practice is situated on the corner of Logan and Beenleigh roads and can be found within the Underwood Marketplace Shopping Complex. Principal dentist Dr Stephen Wong designed the surgery with the capability of 4 treatment rooms. Similar to our founding practice at Calamvale, the Underwood Marketplace has ample parking and is easy to access from the main roads. Having the same family-centred focus as Calamvale, Underwood’s attention for detail in both presentation and clinical direction ensures a modern touch for your everyday needs.
Treatment Rooms
Each practice has been fitted out with modern equipment that makes our dental treatment professional and of a high standard, but also comfortable and entertaining. To be honest, all of us here know that a dental chair is not the nicest place to be. However, we appreciate the importance of dental visits and aim to make it as interesting and comfortable as we can.
With nice comfortable chairs, our patients can sit back, pop on a pair of headphones and enjoy the latest TV shows and DVD movies on our mounted LCD screens. For those who like to be accompanied by family members, we have created a comfortable space for your loved ones to join in on the dental experience.
On the flip side of comfort, Healthy Smile Dental prides itself on having the most up to date infection control procedures. Infection control is the process of making sure bacteria and communicable diseases cannot be passed between the dentist and patient and from patient to patient. Although it is not necessary to audit a private practice's infection control procedures, we have aimed to make infection control procedures at Healthy Smile Dental be able to pass any external audit.

Architecturally designed and created by a leading architectural firm in Brisbane, the feel of Healthy Smile Dental has been created to remove the normal cold and sterile stereotypical waiting room of an ordinary dental practice.
Although called a 'waiting area', we try to keep the waiting process to a minimum, so much so we often have patients coming in early for some light reading of our entertaining and informative reading material. Televisions located on the front walls are also present for our patients to be entertained, however, many just enjoy having a good conversation with our friendly front desk staff.
Sterilisation Rooms
Sterilisation rooms are one of the most important rooms of a dental practice. At Healthy Smile we pride ourselves in maintaining a well organised and well set up 'steri-room'.
Following strict legislation, both Healthy Smile practices are practising in accordance to current Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Standards and comply to all Infection Control Standards. Modern and maintained autoclaves ensure the highest standard in sterilisation.
Furthermore, keeping a clean and well presented sterilisation room means that equipment and materials are kept and stored with our patients' health and well being in mind.
